Neem Oil, Melia azadirachta (6689) is a healing oil. It is anti-fungal. Useful in a natural first aid kit for minor skin niggles, wrinkles. Traditionally used in India for thousands of years, Neem Oil has anti-bacterial and anti-fungal properties and is one of the most therapeutically active vegetable oils. It has a strong odour and although it can be used topically it is best diluted to avoid irritation (up to 50% depending on the application). Its moisturising and protective effects make it especially useful for difficult skin.

Neem oil can be used to repel insects and is useful in the garden to protect plants and trees against infestation.
